The User Management role is designated for users who are responsible for creating, editing, and managing user accounts and groups in the AuditBLOOM system. This role allows effective organization of user access and rights, ensuring security and structured management.

Capabilities

  • User creation and editing: Adding new users to the system and making changes to their profiles.
  • Group creation and editing: Forming groups to simplify access management and role assignment.
  • Assigning rights to users: Assigning roles and access rights to individual users or groups.
  • Assigning users to audit objects: Defining the audit objects that users are responsible for.

Limitations

  • Restriction on changing portal owner: A user with this role who is the portal owner cannot change their own access rights.

Question: Can a user with the "User Management" role assign the "Administrator" role to other users?

Answer: No, the "Administrator" role can only be assigned by the portal owner or other administrators.


Question: Can a user be deleted from the system with the "User Management" role?

Answer: No, instead of deleting users, they must be deactivated. Deleting users from the system is not supported to preserve historical data.
