Mobile Device Limitations

To enhance security, protect user accounts, and control access to data, the AuditBLOOM mobile app enforces a limit on the number of mobile devices connected to a single user account.

Main Rule

🔐 Each user is allowed to have no more than 2 active mobile devices.

A mobile device refers to:

  • a smartphone or tablet
  • with the AuditBLOOM app installed
  • signed in using your user account

Why This Limitation Exists

The device limit helps to:

  • prevent unauthorized access to audits
  • reduce the risk of data leaks
  • control account usage
  • ensure correct operation of push notifications and offline audits

What Happens If the Limit Is Exceeded

If you try to sign in from a third device, the system will:

  • block the sign-in
  • notify you that the device limit has been exceeded
  • prompt you to remove one of the previously connected devices

⚠️ Device removal is performed only in the web version of the system by an administrator or the workspace owner.

Important to Know

  • An old device can be removed no more than once per month
  • Removing a device automatically:
    • revokes access for that device
    • stops push notifications to it
    • disables offline audit functionality on that device

Where to Manage Connected Devices

Device management is available only in the AuditBLOOM web version:

  • view the list of connected devices
  • remove an old or lost device

Recommendations

Tips
  • Use the mobile app only on personal devices
  • If you change your phone, remove the old device in the web version
  • In case your phone is lost, remove the device immediately to protect your data
