Audit Location

"Audit Location" is a special question type available only in the "General Information" section of the audit template. This question type is used to specify the geographic location of the audit. The functionality of this question is identical to the "Location" question type, which we have detailed previously.

Auditors can select a location on the map, and the address is saved as text in the system. This is useful for accurately recording the audit location, which can be important for reporting and analysis.

Using the "Audit Location" Question

Adding the Question to the "General Information" Section

  1. Go to the audit template editor:

    • Log in to the system and navigate to the "Audit Templates" section.
    • Select the required template or create a new one.
  2. Navigate to the "General Information" section:

    • The "General Information" section is located at the beginning of the audit template.
    • This section contains general information about the audit and special questions.
  3. Add the "Audit Location" Question:

    • Click "Add Question" in the "General Information" section.
    • Select the "Audit Location" question type from the list of available types.
  4. Configure the question parameters:

    • Question Title: By default, it is set to "Audit Location", but you can change the title if needed.
    • Mandatory Question: Check the "Mandatory" box if you want to make this question mandatory to fill out.
  5. Save changes:

    • Once the question is configured, the template will be saved automatically.
  6. Publish the template:

    • To make the changes available during audits, do not forget to publish the updated template.

How the "Audit Location" Question Works During an Audit

  • The auditor opens the question in the "General Information" section.
  • A map opens with options to search and select a location.
  • The auditor selects a location on the map by clicking the desired place or entering an address in the search bar.
  • After selection, the system saves the chosen address as text.
  • The address is displayed in the question response and can be used in the audit report.
