Moving Categories

This article explains how to move categories within an audit template. You can drag and drop categories both between sections and within the same section. A category can only be moved when it is collapsed using the special icon to the left of its name.

Requirements. You will need:

One of the roles:

  • Administrator
  • Template Management

Type of workspace:

  • Full workspace.

Step-by-Step Guide​

Accessing the Audit Template Editor:​

  1. Log into the system and navigate to the "Audit Templates" section.
  2. Select the template where you want to move a category and open it for editing.

Moving a Category:​

  1. Collapse the category:
    • Locate the category you want to move.
    • Click on the arrow icon to the left of the category name to collapse it. The category must be collapsed to enable movement.

  1. Drag the category:
    • Hover over the three-line icon. The cursor will change to a hand icon.
    • Click and hold the left mouse button on the category name.

  1. Move the category:
    • Drag the category to the desired location:
      • To change the order of categories within the same section, move it above or below other categories in that section.
      • To move the category to a different section, drag it to the desired section. Ensure the section is open to insert the category.

  1. Release the mouse button:

    • Once the category is in the correct location, release the left mouse button. The category will be moved.

  2. Verify the placement:

    • Expand the category by clicking the icon to the left of its name.
    • Ensure all questions and settings within the category remain intact.

  • Moving is only possible for collapsed categories: If the category is expanded, it cannot be dragged. Collapse it before moving.
