This article explains the process of adding a new category to an audit template. Categories help to detail sections by dividing them into smaller thematic groups of questions. Once a category is created, you can add questions related to a specific topic.

  • Full workspace.

Step-by-Step Guide

Accessing the Audit Template Editor:

  1. Log into the system and navigate to the "Audit Templates" section.
  2. Select an existing template or create a new one and open it for editing.

Adding a New Category:

  1. Find the section where you want to add the category.
  2. Inside the section, click the "Add Category" button. The button is located below the list of existing categories in that section.
  3. Enter the name of the new category in the field that appears. For example, "Occupational Safety".

Adding Questions to the Category:

  1. After creating the category, you can add questions to it:
    • Click the "Add Question" button inside the category.
    • Configure the question according to your needs.

  • Editing a category: You can rename or delete a category at any time by clicking the appropriate option to the right of the category name.
  • Order of categories: You can rearrange categories by dragging them to a different position in the template.

Question: Can a category be added directly to a template without a section?
Answer: No, categories can only be added within sections. The template structure assumes that categories are part of sections.

Answer: When a category is deleted, all questions within it will also be deleted. Be cautious and ensure that important information is not lost.


Question: Can categories be copied or cloned?
Answer: No, copying categories is not supported. You will need to create a new category and manually add the questions.

Answer: Yes, you can collapse a category and drag it to a different position.
