Creating a new audit object type allows you to classify and organize audit objects into specific categories. This simplifies the management of objects and ensures more efficient audits.

The "Audit Object Types" directory contains three fields for each entry:

  1. Name: Enter the name of the audit object type.
  2. Inactive: A checkbox that determines the activity of the type. If checked, the type is considered inactive and unavailable for selection when creating audit objects.
  3. Description: Additional information about the audit object type to help other users understand its purpose.

How to Create a New Audit Object Type

Requirements. You will need:

One of the following roles:

  • Administrator
  • Audit Object Management

Workplace Type:

  • Full Workplace

Step 1: Open the "Audit Object Types" Directory

  1. Log in to the AuditBLOOM system with your account that has the necessary rights.
  2. In the main menu, select the "Directories" section.
  3. Select "Audit Object Types" from the list.

Step 2: Add a New Type

  1. Click the "Add" button at the top of the page.

  2. Fill in the fields:

    • Name: Enter the name of the new audit object type.
    • Inactive: Check the box if the type should be inactive.
    • Description: Add a description to provide additional information about the type.
  3. Click the "Save" button to save the new audit object type.
