Notification Settings

In the AuditBLOOM profile, users can configure notifications for various events by selecting their preferred method of receiving notifications: Email, Push, or Bell (the system bell icon). This helps ensure important events are not missed and allows customization of the system to suit individual preferences.

How to Set Up Notifications

Step 1: Open Your Profile

  1. Log in to the AuditBLOOM system with your account.

  2. Click on the profile icon (green person icon) in the upper-left corner.

Step 2: Go to the "Notifications" Tab

  1. In the profile window, select the "Notifications" tab.

Step 3: Enable User Notifications

  1. Ensure that the "Allow user notifications" toggle is switched on.

  2. If the toggle is off, notifications will not be sent.

Step 4: Click the "Edit" Button

  1. Click the "Edit" button to configure notifications for each event.

Step 5: Set Up Notifications for Events

  1. For each event, select your preferred notification methods by checking the boxes for Email, Push, and Bell.

    • Email: Receive notifications via email.
    • Push: Receive push notifications on the mobile app.
    • Bell: Receive notifications in the system (bell icon).

Question: What does each notification type mean?

Answer:

  • Email: Notifications are sent to your email address.

Question: Why am I not receiving push notifications?

Answer: Make sure you have installed the mobile app, logged in, and enabled notifications in both your device and app settings.


Question: Can I completely turn off all notifications?

Answer: Yes, to do this, turn off the "Allow user notifications" toggle in the "Notifications" tab.


Question: Can other users configure notifications for me?

Answer: Yes. Configuring notifications for other users is available to users with the roles: "Administrator" and "User Management".
