Allowing Push Notifications After Sign In

After the first sign-in to the AuditBLOOM mobile app, the system automatically requests permission to send push notifications.
It is strongly recommended to grant this permission, as push notifications are an important part of the workflow.

Why Push Notifications Are Needed

Push notifications allow you to promptly receive information about events that require your attention, including:

  • assignment of new audits
  • upcoming or overdue scheduled audits
  • availability of audits for review
  • opening or updates of disputes
  • new tasks

Without push notifications, you may miss important events that affect the timely completion of audits and tasks.

How the Permission Request Looks

After a successful sign-in, the operating system (iOS or Android) will display a standard system dialog requesting permission to receive notifications.

For the app to work correctly, you need to tap “Allow”.

What Happens If You Do Not Grant Permission

If you deny the permission:

  • push notifications will not be sent
  • you will not receive real-time updates about changes
  • some events will be available only in in-app notifications (bell icon) or via email (if configured)

Changing the Permission Later

If the permission was not granted during the first sign-in, you can change it later:

  • through the operating system settings (iOS / Android)
  • or in the user profile, in the notification settings section (if OS-level permission is already enabled)

⚠️ Please note: without permission at the operating system level, push notifications will not work, even if they are enabled in the profile settings.
